Designer Akira Minagawa translated the northern lights into an elegant accumulation of overlapping lines — a pattern that creates a rich sense of depth and movement, shifting with the light.

Woven in Lapua, Finland, from 100% pure new wool — including locally sourced Finnsheep wool gathered from farms within 400 km of the mill — each blanket is a product of genuine craft and regional heritage. Lapuan Kankurit has invested over three million euros in their Lapua finishing facility, reviving lost expertise in wool processing and keeping traditional weaving alive in the heart of Ostrobothnia.
