Tamanohada - Welcome Gift Soap: Pomegranate

A gift that arrives already beautiful. Tamanohada's Welcome Gift Soap is shaped as a tai fish — the Japanese sea bream, long associated with celebration and good fortune — cast using a process inspired by the wooden moulds traditionally used to make rakugan, a Japanese confection. The form is delicate and sculptural; the kind of thing you almost don't want to use.

The Pomegranate scent is warm and fruited — rich without being heavy, with a depth that settles into something almost resinous on the skin. The lather is between liquid and milk, leaving a delicate veil of moisture. Gentle enough for face and body.
