The Wren is compatible with all standard Fountain Pen Inks and we have a beautiful range of colours, which are perfect for the Wren. Please note the Wren is not suitable for use with our Shimmer Fountain Pen Inks or Calligraphy Inks. Looking for a waterproof option? We’d suggest our No.60 Pigment Black. Some ink colours can concentrate in the tip, so they may experience a lighter colour after a line or two. This is completely normal and looks quite nice! How do they store the reservoir and tips? They can store reservoirs, tips and change to a different colour using spare reservoirs and my reservoir storage containers. How long will the tips/ink last? They can expect the high quality, Japanese made tip to last for months of use. We tested a single ink fill in the Wren on a plotter a device used for precision drawing and it wrote consistently for 344 metres. That's the equivalent of 50 A4 pages of hand writing! When the tip eventually dulls, they can use our packs of three replacement tips.
